Walter Faxon
$44.00 (excl. tax)
An heirloom peony prized for its unusually clear, luminous shell-pink color—among the purest pinks in peonies. The double blooms are well formed and moderately ruffled, with color fading softly as flowers age, settling deeper in the center. Mildly fragrant and produced freely due to numerous side buds, it offers a generous midseason display. Plants are medium in height with attractive dark green foliage. Stems are adequate but may lean under bloom weight, making Walter Faxon particularly well suited to cutting, where its exceptional color is best appreciated.
WHY WE LOVE IT: Walter Faxon is all about color. Its glowing shell pink, good bud count, and reliable flowering make it a standout heirloom that still earns its place in the garden and vase today.
