Ann Cousins
$42.00 (excl. tax)
A classic late-midseason white with presence and perfume. Ann Cousins produces enormous, fully double, dome-shaped flowers of clear white, carried on medium-height plants with large, bold foliage. The blooms are richly rose-fragrant and among the largest of the season, opening heavily packed and refined. While the sheer size of the flowers can benefit from support, the plants themselves are vigorous, healthy, and consistently reliable. One of the last whites to bloom, Ann Cousins closes the peony season with authority.
WHY WE LOVE IT: Ann Cousins delivers size, fragrance, and dependability when the season is winding down. Few peonies combine such massive blooms and strong scent so reliably, making it an indispensable late white for gardeners who want a memorable finish to peony season.
