Skylark
$40.00 (excl. tax)
A profusion of flowers reach heavenward on tall, stately stems, resembling a flock of Skylarks taking flight. The glorious variety sends our imagination headlong into the stratosphere with excellent goblet shaped single flowers of a luminous and clear bright rose pink. Petals bear a white flare on the outside of their petals, a prominent feature as the petals remain strongly cupped for a majority of their bloom life. Place Skylark in the back of the landscape as there are reports of this variety reaching over 4 feet! Narrow leaflets give the impression of wings on the tall stems, contributing to the cohesive look and theme that Skylark carries. Remarkable and graceful, and of unique landscape utility. Bred by Professor A.P. Saunders, highly regarded as one of the most important peony hybridizers. One flower per stem.
