It?s show time! This fabulous, showy anemone variety is dressed to the nines in flashy flowers. Blooms can actually be quite variable in form, and it?s not uncommon to see a visual sensation of a mixture of Japanese, anemone, and loose double form peonies all on the same plant! Show Girl?s flowers are dressed with warm pink guard petals arranged around a center of cream coloured petaloids. Occasional fountains of larger pink petaloids erupt through the centre of cream to varying degrees, resembling a showgirl?s headdress and providing visual interest. Plants form a wide bush of attractive dark green foliage which serves as a stage that is completely smothered with flowers.? Stems are strong and many side buds extend the time until the curtain call. A performance worthy of a standing ovation!
