Nippon Beauty erupts into bloom and is reliably covered in an overflowing bounty of blooms season after season. Given away by the name, the Japanese-style flowers are dressed in a deep garnet red from the staminodes, to the guard petals that frame them. The wavy staminodes are tipped and edged in gold and incurved about the tip, providing a unique and textural centre to the flower. Plants boast incredible flower power with their incredible show of rich coloured blooms produced en masse. Edward Auten Jr. hybridizer of Nippon Beauty and a tremendous number of many other fantastic peonies won a prize from the illustrious Brand Nursery recognizing the great qualities of this plant. Many side buds extend the blooming period.
