Livingstone
$38.00 (excl. tax)
An heirloom plant that embodies French breeding of the late 19th century, Livingstone is a blousy bloom, generously furnished in waves of ruffled petals. Flowers are large, domed doubles with an attractive petal configuration and open a medium pink, fading to a softer colour which pools at the depths of the flower. Some central petals show expression of a raspberry-red margin, sometimes finely streaked through the center of the petal. Stems are surprisingly thick and rigid for a plant bred in this era, and a sweet perfume produced in abundance is the bow on top of this pretty package. 1 -3 sidebuds extend the bloom period. A classic with old world charm.
