A stunning, stormy, dark red single perfect for those with dark peony desires. While the deep mahogany flowers are often classified as single in form, it is not uncommon for flowers to produce several layers of petals, giving them a semi-double appearance. Colour is resilient and unfading. Golden anthers produce a fantastic contrast to the magnificent, rich, brooding petal colour, but the centre of this flower is perhaps best when the stamens lay flat, fully revealing the red filaments and producing a dual ring of colour.
