Blooms ahoy! This tall, late blooming single variety is absolutely smothered in large blooms of an impressive, deep bordeaux red, sometimes described as a plum red. Petals have a magnificent sheen.  This is a tall plant; at over 3 feet tall it is best placed towards the back of the landscape where it will be sure to dazzle with an attention grabbing, heavy flowering performance. Foliage is a deep green and stems are a beautiful wine red. Unusual.
