With a show stopping display of true red, rare in peonies, Diana Parks gives the much better known Red Charm a run for her money with bomb-double flowers that are equally as striking. Blooms are borne on stems over a meter tall, commanding attention in the landscape, and have a mild fragrance, a feature notably rare amongst red peonies. The true red colour is enduring and relatively resistant to bleaching in the sun. Plants exhibit wonderful officinalis type foliage, distinct from many other hybrids.
