The name says it all! This dreamy Japanese-form bloom embodies the refined elegance of a bride walking down the aisle; both are dressed in white and the subject of much admiration. This large yet delicate looking flower has large guard petals that house a wide centre of narrow, wispy petaloids, neatly arranged, that distinguish it from other Japanese-form flowers. Plants are reliable, strong-stemmed, upright, and free flowering with many side buds that cover the top of the plant and greatly extend the bloom period. As the name implies, Bride?s Dream is an excellent cut flower. With its fantastic presentation and staying power in the landscape and in the vase, Bride?s Dream is an incredibly well balanced peony that is deserving of her name.
