These cheery, exuberant flowers spread joy and embody happiness! Flowers are Japanese in form, perhaps bordering on anemone, in which large, festive, fuschia-pink guard petals are cupped and house a central mass of soft yellow staminodes which can be thin and wispy or broad and fringed. The occasional flower will put up a pink plume, the same colour as the guard petals, through the creamy yellow base, and sometimes the center will erupt with them and approach a full double form! The colour combination is truly delightful. The plant has an upright habit and blooms are carried well. Plants flower en masse and a mature specimen is truly enchanting, offering waves of colour in the landscape. Many side buds extend the flowering period.
