Instead of counting sheep, try counting this variety’s numerous blooms when in need of a good rest! A darling of a plant, Bo-Peep produces a profusion of orchid-pink Japanese-form flowers. The central firework, which is where a lot of the action happens, consists of contrasting pink, white, and cream staminodes. Bo-Peep is incredible for her abundance of flowering with several side buds per stem, putting it right up there with some of the longest bloom times in the peony world. Plants generate a lot of interest with flowers in different stages of bloom and an interesting fade of the flowers that makes them look misted in pink. Very vigorous and of easy culture. This not-so-little Bo-Peep falls within the average height of peonies, between 30 and 36 inches. Many side buds prolong the blooming period, making it a choice selection for those who appreciate a long flowering, workhorse peony.
