Addis Ababa is from the breeding work of Adam Yakabuskie. If you are looking for a dark garden treasure, then this martagon lily might be for you. Fuzzy buds open to feature large, dark maroon flat flowers with a dark reverse on a very sturdy dark stem with the dark coloration carrying through to the whorled leaves, giving this lily a very distinctive trait. The down facing flowers are large in size with a flat form, and a slight recurve. The glossy appearance in the flower add additional interest in this plant. Strong vigorous grower. Named in honor of good friends Rahel and Weldeab Paulos. New introduction, exclusive to Parkland Peonies
