White Innocence
$48.00 (excl. tax)
Another remarkable Saunders peony, late-blooming hybrid distinguished by its extraordinary height and floriferous habit. Tall, sturdy stems—often reaching 4 to 5 feet at maturity—carry many small, pristine white single blooms per stem. Each flower features a distinctive greenish center, a rare trait in peonies and often compared to an empress magnolia. The effect is airy, architectural, and unlike any other peony in the garden. Best suited to the back of the border, where its height and movement can be fully appreciated.
WHY WE LOVE IT: White Innocence is grown for scale and uniqueness. Its towering height, exceptional flower count, and unusual green-centered blooms make it a true outlier among peonies and an invaluable late-season garden plant.
