Immaculee
$48.00 (excl. tax)
A peony with a sweet appearance and an even sweeter fragrance! Immaculee is a staple in the perennial border for its reliable and dependable performance. Routinely blanketed with flowers carried on strong stems, Immaculee sports Japanese-form flowers with guard petals that open blush and mature to an immaculate white. The guards surround a prominent cluster of fringed cream staminodes, which also mature to white, taking cues from the guards. Pink stigmas produce a nice, surprising, and shocking contrast in the centre of the flower. Form can be quite variable, forming a spectrum ranging from Japanese to anemone, and provide a buzz of visual interest on a plant that is covered with flowers. Fragrance is excellent and produced in abundance by a profusion of flowers. Plants demonstrate good vigor and are loaded with side buds, extending the bloom period.
