Named not for the nostalgic alternating red and white pattern that reminds us of the holidays, the name Candy Cane actually refers to the lavender streaking that is commonly seen running the length of the petal. Flowers are a smooth, creamy yellow that are flushed pink upon opening; the overall effect is a flower that is surprisingly orange in the initial stages of bloom.
