An unusual cherry-pink hue gives terrific depth of colour to this mid-season flowering Japanese variety. Large flowers are plentifully produced and composed of unique, undulating guard petals that surround a central mass of same coloured staminodes that are dotted with gold on the tips. An occasional plume of larger petaloids has been known to erupt from the center of blooms. An easy to grow, strong plant that blooms profusely. Mildly fragrant.
