A fine Canadian peony bred by William Brown of Brown?s Peony Gardens in Elora, Ontario! Being Canadian born and bred, this is a peony that you know will perform well in our unique Canadian growing conditions. The sublime, full double flowers appear cupped in form due to incurved petals and are coloured the most beautiful and unusual lavender orchid-pink. Fragrance is heavenly, strong and sweet. Flower presentation is excellent, shown well above the plant on strong stems. As the flower matures, colour pools at the depths of the flowers, producing a classy silver tipped effect. Sidebuds extend the bloom period and are very well formed, reaching a size that approaches the primary flower. An incredible Canadian introduction that should be more widely grown.
