Yaremko (P. tenuifolia hybrid)
$68.00 (excl. tax)
An exceptional fern-leaf peony with finely cut, threadlike foliage forming a dense, rounded mound that remains highly ornamental long after bloom. Early-opening, deep crimson red single flowers are carried just above the foliage with a graceful, nodding presentation. Plants are vigorous, easy to grow, and notably tolerant of partial shade. This hybrid increases well and holds its form beautifully through the season, making it one of the strongest tenuifolia-type performers in the garden.
WHY WE LOVE IT: Yaremko combines outstanding foliage, early bloom, and strong garden presence in a way few fern-leaf peonies do. It’s a reliable grower, a good multiplier, and remains attractive well beyond flowering—everything we look for in a long-term garden plant. Named in honor of Bob Yaremko, this peony represents an important part of Parkland Peonies’ history and legacy, and it continues to earn its place here every season.
