Mahogany red, throat pale cream gold, outside chestnut brown; spotted; pollen brown. Beautiful plant structure with large flowers on dark stiff stem. Another one of my favorites in the martagon garden, so many customers want this martagon when they see it in bloom. A real gem! Height: 3 to 4 feet. early July / mid-July flowering. Hybridizer: R.S.
